The Blue Pool

The Blue Pool

The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms is a great day out for families all year round, nestled in the stunning Furzebrook Estate on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. This historic gem offers 30 acres of beautiful woodland and nature trails to explore.

One of the most exciting highlights is the UK’s longest rope bridge, set high amongst the trees, a fun experience for kids and brave grown-ups!

Children will love the play area with swings, climbing frames and balance beams, while the enchanting Fairy Trail sparks young imaginations as they search for tiny doors hidden in the woods.

As you wander the peaceful paths, enjoy incredible views of The Blue Pool which can appear different shades of blue and green throughout the year as the sunlight reflects off the water. Keep an eye out for local wildlife - from birds and butterflies to drangonflies and deer, perfect for nature lovers and photographers.
